Nidhivan (the Grove of Divine Treasures) is among the most revered nikunjas in Vrindavan. In the 16th century, music-saint Swami Haridas performed his intense musical sadhana in this grove, manifesting the divine form of Shri Banke Bihari Ji through pure Dhrupad singing.
The trees inside Nidhivan grow in distinct pairs, their branches curving towards the earth. In Vaishnava theology, they are regarded as elevated sages and gopis meditating upon the eternal Raas Leela.
Every evening before sunset, priests prepare a sandalwood bed, Yamuna water, and betel leaves in Rang Mahal for Shri Radha-Rani before sealing the sanctum until morning.
