Every few minutes, priests draw a velvet curtain across the sanctum. According to tradition, Bihari Ji’s eyes are so captivating that continuous gazing may lead the Lord to follow the devotee home.

2. Absence of Bells and Conch Shells

To avoid disturbing the tender child-like slumber of Bihari Ji, no metallic bells or loud conches are sounded within the temple.
